✨ An Adventure Born from My Passions and Values
Family Dress Code is an adventure that was born from my passions and deep-rooted values on September 30, 2019, my birthday. This project reflects my commitment to a more inclusive fashion industry, where everyone, regardless of their body shape, can find the perfect outfit for life’s special moments.
🧵 A Passion Passed Down
My name is Olena, a French entrepreneur of Ukrainian origin and the founder of Family Dress Code. At the age of six, my grandmother Maria introduced me to sewing, embroidery, and crochet. These precious moments sparked my love for textile creation, and I quickly began expressing myself by designing outfits for my Barbie dolls.
🌍 A Dream of Cultural Connection
With a degree in international business, I always aspired to unite my two cultures—French and Ukrainian—through a meaningful project. To bring this vision to life, I trained in fashion design, pattern-making, and tailoring, mastering every step of the creative process. Family Dress Code was born from this desire to offer fashion that celebrates diversity, allowing every family member to find an outfit that suits their style and body.
🛍️ A Response to Fashion Challenges
Finding well-fitting clothing can be a challenge, and the fashion industry’s overproduction is harmful to the environment. I wanted to offer an alternative. Family Dress Code provides accessible and customizable made-to-measure clothing, crafted on demand to eliminate unnecessary waste and reduce our ecological footprint. We use upcycled fabrics, repurposing surplus materials from major manufacturers to create unique, eco-friendly pieces. Our commitment to sustainable fashion drives us to take on the industry's current challenges with a responsible approach. I take great pleasure in engaging with each of our customers, offering advice, and creating unique pieces that enhance their silhouette. Craftsmanship is at the core of our creative process. Each piece is carefully handcrafted with expertise, using a unique skillset that we showcase through our artisanal production. More than 40 specialized and trained artisans work meticulously to tailor each outfit to individual body shapes. This expertise ensures high-quality, long-lasting garments that accompany people through their most beautiful moments, from wedding dresses to elegant suits and outfits for the whole family.

Aware of the environmental impact of fashion, we prioritize mindful production and short supply chains, valuing artisanal craftsmanship.
